Angelica Gorga

is a New York City based performing artist, writer, and producer. Theatre: Off Broadway’s Can Do Duck: The Musical (Nelly), Into the Woods (The Baker’s Wife), You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown (Sally), and Nine (Carla). Cabaret: “Gender is A Lie…A Miscast Cabaret” at The Duplex (Performer/Co-Producer), “F%*$ You Cabaret!” and “Miscast Cabaret.” Other credits include: Serendipity, Priorities, and Second Chances (Playwright/Director), The Picher Project at 54 Below, The Picher Project at Dixon Place, American Scoreboard: Betsy DeVos (Associate/Assistant Producer) and Positive: A Pilot Reading (Associate Director).

In November 2021, Angelica produced and performed her first solo concert, “A Night of Sinatra” with Angelica Gorga at Don’t Tell Mama in New York City.

Angelica proudly trained at Rutgers Summer Acting Conservatory in 2012 and Paper Mill Playhouse in 2013, both as a scholarship recipient. She also attended the William Esper Studio Summer Intensive in 2019.

She studied English Language and Literature with a concentration in Writing at Pace University in Downtown Manhattan. While attending, she found a love for playwriting, producing, and directing. She is a recipient of the Gerard Cannon Award for Playwriting from the English Department at Pace. Her short plays have been accepted and performed in festivals including Manhattan Repertory Theatre’s Summer One Act Play and The New York Theatre Festival where she directed and produced her own work.

Angelica is currently producing and will star in a workshop production of her new play, LOST AND FOUND, beginning November 2024.
